Rescaté esta astilla de itín de los leñeros. Salió un cuenco con borde natural bajo y casi plano . Hermosa madera en su colorido y de extrema dureza, lo que se puede apreciar en el sonido de video. Tuve que afilar las herramientas varias veces. Siempre es un desafío para mi este tipo de madera..!!!
Es difícil dejar la superficie sin imperfecciones, lo que lleva mas tiempo en su acabado final.
En la parte trasera le hice una pequeña textura para darle un toque de originalidad al receso del agarre en el plato.
Lijado hasta grano 600. En la parte trasera le pasé cera de carnauba y el final aceite de uva, lo cual me dio mejor resultado.
