Intuitive Art Journaling - INK + DRIPS + DOT PATTERNS - — SIMPLE DEPTH TECHNIQUE

In today’s video, I’m exploring a simple mixed media method using ink drips, paint drips, layered dot patterns, and veiling to create depth on the page. There will be 5-7 layers on this page in which I use a dryer but have edited that out. As I said last week, I am wanting to paint larger. If this is something you've been considering I also show you how to use a larger art journal to explore larger work!

You’ll see how:
✔ ink and paint drips create movement
✔ dot patterns add structure and rhythm
✔ veiling softens lower layers
✔ higher-contrast top layers pull the eye forward

This is a great exercise if you want to build depth without complicating your process.
