These are very tough times. In the Covid tragedy, we artists are useless, or at least feel that way. Sort of prisoners in our shell-homes, eager to come back to music with our colleagues, on a stage, in front of a public. All we can do is playing, closed in our shelters. So why not sharing a few minutes of music? I am forcing myself to give these performances everyday, just for myself: in order not to lose enthusiasm towards the sensations of a concert. Practicing is not enough, we musicians do need performances. That's why I play in front of a videocamera, as an habit, to feel listened to; without any cuts or postproduction, accepting all the inevitable flaws of a live playing in such strange conditions. If these microconcerts could help someone to feel relief, maybe just for some minutes, well... it would not have been pointless.
