Hi, this is my turning cheap guitar into the perfect lap steel project. I Always wanted Lap steel guitar, but simple one was not satisfied me much. Then I saw Duesenberg Fairytale, and I loved it. But it was so expensive 2600€. This is Harley Benton SC Junior (´bout 200€). I changed bridge to Duesenberg Multibender (even this was more expensive than whole HB guitar :), 290€). Than I raised zero nut, also put piece of wood under the new Duesenberg bridge, changed wiring from modern to 50´s wiring, also put Orange drop capacitor, and finally changed original pickup to Tuma noiseless P90. Strings are Duesenberg DSL16 Lap Steel, Open D tuning (DADF#AD), on the brige are 2 levelers make from F# to G, and from A to B. It's been about a month since I made it and I've been practicing so I can make this video. All guitars and Lap Steel was recorded using AXE FM3 straight to Focusrite and to the DAW.
Hope You like it, and tell me what You think to the comments :)
