Faceting a color-change garnet

I cut the gem of my dreams last week. It is a garnet that somehow shifts from pink, to orange, to yellow, to lime green depending on the lighting it’s in!

That’s right, I finally cut a true color-change gemstone. This piece was such a treat to cut, and I hope you all have as much fun watching the process as I did filming it!
