Dr John performs experimental arcaheology at the cottish Easter Aquhorthies stone circle with Dr John Hill. This video was made in August 2021, film production by "Before Caledonia".
The Easter Aquhorthies stone circle dates to around 2500 BC and it is classed as a Recumbent Stone Circle (RSC) - due to the presence of the massive recumbent stone. The RSCs are a distinctive class of Later Neolithic stone circles unique to Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
