This pre-ban (1994) M-17s was upgraded at some point by K&M Aerospace. It was a dang good trade in my opinion.
Correction: a diplomat was not injured, but someone was injured in a demonstration while this rifle was competing for a government contract against the Steyr AUG, and many diplomats and government officials witnessed the catastrophic failure. Glad Bushmaster and K&M were able to fix these problems.
