Assassin's Creed Valhalla is Ubisoft's new open world action-adventure game; it offers several main story quests and numerous side missions. In this game we play the role of Eivor (/ˈeɪvɔːr/), a Viking raider and lead a group of Vikings against the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms. The player can chose to play Eivor as either male or female and is able to customise Eivor's hair, warpaint, clothing, armor, and tattoos. The type of weapons available to use during the adventures has been expanded to include weapons such as flails and greatswords. The player's companion animal is a raven by the name of Synin (Old Norse for "Sight") who can can be used to scout around in search of foes and other interesting things from afar before Eivor engages in combat. There is more attention on the use of stealth tactics for both traversing the game world and in combat. Stealth will be useful even in social situations, when Eivor can hide from enemie using stationary environmental objects and also he can pull down his hood and slip into certain crowds to use them as cover. Eivor can feign death, use his raven to cause a distraction, and use a hidden blade for near instantaneous assassinations.
