Greetings, everyone.
Today we’re re-testing Cyberpunk 2077, to do a performance comparison between my old RTX 3060 Ti and the new RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB.
My current PC specs:
-CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X (stock settings) with Coolermaster Hyper 212 Black RGB (w/2 fans, push-pull).
-Mobo: MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC.
-GPU: Zotac Twin Edge 5060 Ti 16 GB, 0.975V|+375 MHz Core|+2000 MHz Mem UnderVolt, WHQL driver 577.00.
-RAM: Kingston Fury Renegade RGB 32 GB (2x16 Dual Rank each), CL16 DDR4@3600 MT/s.
-Storage: PNY XLR8 CS3030 1TB NVMe (O.S. and game), Samsung 750 EVO 500 GB.
-Case: Fractal Design Meshify S2 (Intake: 2x140 Front, 1x120 Lower Front - Exhaust: 1x140 Rear, 1x120 Top/VRM Area).
-PSU: Corsair RMx 650W 80+ Gold.
-O.S: Windows 10 Pro 64bit (v.22H2).
-Main Monitor: LG UltraGear 27GP850-B - 1440p@180 Hz
-Secondary Monitor: AOC AGON AG251FG 1080p@240Hz (may sometimes be used as main)
-ReBAR ON (BIOS, etc.) and Enabled for this game via Official Profile.
-HAGS ON.
-DSR uses 33% Smoothing

We also got the 2.3 Update for Cyberpunk recently, but that patch on PC, at least, does not contain any major performance updates or improvements, as far as I can see in its patch notes.
For the 3060 Ti, I also had to use Patch 2.0 footage, with some from the 1.62 update too, since I didn’t do many resolutions the last time I tested the game, when Phantom Liberty launched.
That said, I feel it’s more than enough testing to compare both GPUs on my system, as usual, and I’m happy with the results achieved: quite similar to what I’ve seen in other intensive games.
I can enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 with Path Tracing now and decent resolution and output frame-rates, while keeping a high level of fluidity, thanks to Multi Frame Generation, which is what’s been designed for, after all.
With so many good updates, over the years, it’s no surprise that this game runs so smoothly.
