Description:
Gently hold the baby's knee still
Hold the foot by the toes and move it outwards
Hold the foot out for a few seconds
Do the movements gently - the baby should not be uncomfortable
Repeat several times, a few times per day
Gentle massage to the foot and leg will also help the child to become used to the foot being touched
These movements will work best on a baby whose foot position is corrected or partly corrected
