Welcome back! Today I am sharing some of the tools I use for mark making in my mixed media and other art projects. Mark making adds a ton of interest and texture to your pieces – give it a try. The tools I am showing you today can all be easily found around your house, from the grocery store, or from the hardware aisle at your local home improvement stores. Most of them are free – and we all love free, am I right? More money for art supplies!
Today I used Media Fluid Acrylics for mark making, but whatever paint or inks you use in your projects will work just as well.
I have been an artist for over 40 years, primarily painting in acrylics. Over the last few years, I have been art journaling on a daily (almost) basis, drawing graphite portraits, creating intuitive art, and dabbling in watercolor.

I have tons of ideas to share and I hope by using YouTube, I can gain like-minded followers who love some form of art and love to learn new ideas and techniques to try. I believe everyone can make great art.
