Crown Showdown is a minigame mode in Mario Party 8. The objective is to win x minigames, with x being either 3, 5 or 7. You can also choose whether you want to play all minigames, Free for alls only, 1 vs 3s only, or 2 vs 2s only. In this case I'm only playing 2 vs 2 minigames.

I will be playing Mario Party 8's Crown Showdown for this video, and I have set it to the 2 vs 2 mode. Seven wins are needed to emerge victorious. I'm playing as Mario in this video, while Peach, Luigi and Daisy are Very Hard Computers.
