This video was taken from an onboard camera and filmed by the crew of Columbia mission STS-107 as they flew over the central Pacific Ocean at an altitude of 500,000 feet and ends at 7:48 a.m. CST on February 1 2003, approximately 11 minutes prior to loss of signal between the Space Shuttle Columbia and Mission Control.
Commander Rick Husband, Pilot Willie McCool and Mission Specialists Kalpana Chawla and Laurel Clark were on the flight deck while Mike Anderson, Dave Brown and Ilan Ramon were on Columbia's mid deck.
This video was recovered during the debris search.
