MOEF&CC has released E-waste Management Rules, 2022 which will come in force from April 1, 2023.
The new rules are applicable to Manufacturer, Producer, Refurbisher, Dismantler, Recycler involved in manufacture, sale, transfer, purchase, refurbishing, dismantling, recycling and processing of e-waste or Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) as listed in Schedule-I.
