To use safely, take one medication first, then the other after 4-6 hours. The daily maximums are 4,000mg for acetaminophen and 1,200mg for ibuprofen. Remember to take them with food to reduce getting an upset stomach as they both can cause nausea and other issues. If pain or fever persists for more than three days, consult your doctor.
