Cirrus Vision Jet & RAAF KingAir YSCB Approaches | 06-10-2021

During the current lockdown, it has been a struggle but thanks to members of the SydSquad Discord I was given the heads up about a new Cirrus VisionJet SF-50 G2 arriving into Canberra (YSCB). So I grabbed my new Sony camera and microphone and set off for a walk to find a good place to capture this new aircraft. Due to the long time it has been since I last went planespotting I struggled for about a minute to get a visual sighting of the aircraft. (It didn't help that the aircraft is painted blue and the sky is also blue)
After seeing the Vision Jet disappear below the horizon I checked Flightradar24 and saw that there was a RAAF KingAir 350i from 32 Squadron turning onto the final approach. After spending about 20 seconds trying to get my camera to focus on the aircraft I finally started recording. And continued to do so until it disappeared below the horizon.
