The cowgirls of Colombia are a very different breed from the cowboys home on the range in North America.
Dedicated, driven and proud, they''ve been competing in the annual four day competition for best cowgirl 2010.
STORYLINE:
Angela Karina Arenas is getting ready for her big day.
She is taking part in a cowgirl competition that only allows female participants.
The competition takes place in the city of Villavicencio, the capital of Meta province.
But not everyone agrees with how the timings are noted down.
