If your private practice feels heavy, chaotic, or draining, I want you to know it’s probably not because you’re doing something wrong — it’s because the structure you’re working inside of isn’t actually supporting you. In this video, I’m walking you through the small but meaningful shifts I’ve made in my own practice that created more space, flexibility, and freedom, without leaving the work I love.
I talk about how being underpaid, overscheduled, and over-responsible slowly leads to burnout, resentment, and the feeling that your work is running you instead of the other way around. From fees and insurance, to your schedule and cancellation policies, to how much you’re trying to hold alone, this is an invitation to question what you’ve normalized — and to choose structures that protect your time, energy, and emotional capacity.
If you’re feeling crispy, stretched thin, or quietly fantasizing about escape, this is a reminder that you don’t need to leave private practice to feel better inside of it. You’re allowed to build more freedom into your private practice in 2026 in a way that supports your nervous system, your relationships, and your freedom. I hope this video helps you see where to begin.
