The original LEGO Cafe Corner (set 10182) is the holy grail for modular collectors - but with sealed sets now selling for over £2500, it’s well out of my budget. So for this month’s addition to my “complete every LEGO modular by the end of 2025” challenge, I took a different route…

Using a clever Rebrickable redesign (https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-2111...) that simplifies the parts list using pieces available on LEGO Pick a Brick, I managed to recreate this iconic set for under £250. Same look, massively lower cost. But is it still legit?

Let’s build it, compare it to the original, and see if this counts as a proper addition to the collection!
