Perform the following steps to setup the 5020W air compressor.
1. Open top of box and remove upper packing foam.
2. Remove plastic bag containing Owners Manual, Quick Start Guide and misc. parts.
3. Gently lay box onto one side; grab compressor’s front protective cage bar and pull unit out.
4. Lift unit to upright position.
5. Remove remaining packaging.
6. Open wheel kit packaging and install both wheels. Assemble bolt, wheel, washer and nut onto compressor’s rear-side base as shown.
7. Using 11/16” or 17 mm wrenches or sockets, securely tighten bolts and both wheel nuts.
8. Using the telescoping handle, gently tilt compressor onto it’s rear side.
9. Obtain 2 rubber cushions from packaging; reassemble bolt, washer and nut as shown onto each front support chassis.
10. Using 1/2” or 19 mm wrenches or sockets, securely tighten cushion nuts.
11. To adjust the height of the telescoping handle, open the quick release skewer and turn the knob counterclockwise to loosen. Raise or lower handle, tighten both knobs and close the quick release skewers to secure.
12. Install the 2 air filters by screwing clockwise into the threaded ports on the rear-side of the motor-pump. Hand tighten only.
13. Install the 4” air filter tubes into each air filter by pressing tube end into the small hole located on the side of each filter. Note: air intake tubes may point in any direction and will not interfere with compressor operation.
14. Next, perform a startup test of the 5020W air compressor.
15. Plug in power cord to a 120 volt power source and turn on the compressor power switch.
16. After 1 minute the tank should fully pressure to approximately 120 to 125 PSI, then the motor should stop running.
17. Turn off power switch and open the manual ball drain valve to release air from the tank.
18. After the tank pressure gauge reaches zero, close the manual ball drain valve.
19. Connect your air hose/tooling with zero or low tank pressure indicated; the compressor may be turned back on and is now ready for use.
