The specimen shown in this video is an authentic fragment of a Tang Dynasty blue lead-glazed dish (7th–9th century CE). The body is coarse and porous, containing quartz grains, while the glaze is thick and lead-based, fired at low temperature. Under microscopic observation, numerous air bubbles and crackle patterns are visible. The bright turquoise-blue glaze is a hallmark of Tang sancai and related wares, reflecting both technological sophistication and cultural exchange in the Tang era.
