THE JOURNEY TO BECOMING A POLICE OFFICER: The journey to becoming a qualified and competent police officer is a walk of thousand steps accompanied by the zeal to learn and commitment to serving the country.
For the recruits who will be passing out during the 22nd Police Day, this day means standing proud in front of Their Majesties ready to pledge their loyalty to the Kingdom of Eswatini. The next step for the trainees is joining seasoned officers for an on the job training of their journey.
By design, the policing vocation is a calling to serve the country, therefore as the trainees to go into the field, they should execute their duties with due diligence and commitment to ensure that safety and security in the country is secured. They are expected to exhibit conduct that is above reproach and always maintain discipline and professionalism at all times as they interact with the Nation.
