Watch as I take the Zephyr to Chicago with my High School friend!
This was a photography trip first before videos. Thus this is a compilation of clips. Photographs I am determining where I'll post them. See the link below if I have!
California Zephyr to Chicago (from Salt Lake,) takes about 30 hours. Other trains we take in this video include Metra's UP Northwest line, Amtrak Hiawatha, and various CTA L Trains. We spent about $34 on Metra over 4 trips from Arlington Park to downtown. We spent $110 per ticket for one-way to Chicago. We spent $48 roundtrip to Milwaukee on Hiawatha. And spent about $15 on CTA over the time we were in Chicago. However, traveling expenses made up a tiny portion of the total trip cost.
