Musical Moment of Shared Humanity: • OK Go - Get Over It
(musical inspiration applies to getting over rulings you don't like, people who cross you the wrong way, and 2025)
An attorney for an angry father files a motion to recuse the judge after a custody battle, citing an unbelievable series of bizarre and biased actions from the bench, including spitting, inventing facts that were never in evidence, and comparing the father to an "uncivilized" character from Peter Pan. Lawyers for the mother argue the judge's rulings were based on evidence and that the motion is simply a case of sour grapes after a total loss in court.
Later , an eyewitness to a fatal parking lot shooting identifies the gunman in court, and other witnesses seem to get cold feet on the stand.
Finally, a defendant on bond makes a risky deal with Judge Simpson over a failed drug test, leading to an interesting New Years gambit in an attempt to avoid leaving with Mr. Allen.
