NS P07 originates in Durham Yard on the NS NC-Line. The local switches industries between Durham and Burlington as well as running to Carrboro when requested by UNC. Carrboro is accessed by the 10.2 mile J-Line. The J-line begins at the railroad location Glenn in University, NC. The UNC Cogeneration Plant is the only industry remaining on the J-Line. Almost all 10 miles of the J-Line are 85lbs rail and over 100 years old.
