WYSIWYG 2025 Updates

CAST is excited to announce the latest advancements in WYSIWYG, designed to enhance functionality, improve workflow efficiency, and provide greater creative control. Launching in the second half of April 2025.

Latest WYSIWYG 2025 Features:

Over 300 new fixtures, 100+ new truss pieces, and 100+ new gobos

A robust Cables feature, which allows fully customizable Single Cables, Multicables, and Splitters to be drawn/inserted, as well as to be connected to fixtures and have their lengths calculated in cable spreadsheets; advanced tools for cables such as Daisy Chaining

Highly realistic and customizable static people models for enhanced visual acuity

Six new Particle Effects: Comets, Starbursts, Glitter, Multi-Mine, Flashpots, and Sparklers

Improvements and bug fixes, many related to MVR (such as support for the latest version (1.5), exporting fixture weights, and exporting Rigging Points objects as MVR Support Nodes, among others); others include enhanced visualization of LED-based strip and tube fixtures, layer colour for Pan Circles, and support for NDI® 6

WYSIWYG Viewer included in the standard installation, allowing files to be opened (read-only) without a dongle connected or without an active cloud license
