Lakhs of lamps lit up Badadanda from Singhadwara to Gundicha Temple as Mahaprabhu Jagannath appeared in Shraddha Besa during the second day of Deva Deepabali at Srimandir, Puri. On Margashira Amavasya, Mahaprabhu performed the Shraddha Niti, offering Pindadana and Deepadana to ancestors including Dasharatha, Kausalya, Vasudeva, Devaki, Nanda, Yashoda, King Indradyumna and Queen Gundicha.
