The Risen - Post-Apocalyptic LARP

Old story and 1st attempt at making this type of system...

The Risen is a LarpCraft sanctioned Post-Apocalyptic, Zombie style Live Action Role Playing Game. Some of you will notice and undoubtedly recognize themes, abilities, and some other things, that were used in other games and movies. Namely things from the Fallout series of games, Dawn Of the Dead, AMC's The Walking Dead, the Mad Max Trilogy, and other sources.

Prelude

"The Apocalypse is not around the corner, nor is it for future generations to deal with. The apocalypse is now, and we must decide how to save ourselves." - Unknown.

In 2040 global climate changes had already caused the displacement of millions of people. Beginning along coastlines worldwide as sea levels rose. The reality of a global shift in the climate could no longer be disputed by anyone. By 2045, millions of refugees displaced from their homes flooded into other parts of the world that were less affected by the changes in the climate. Many smaller nations went bankrupt between 2045 and 2047, as their economies collapsed due to the increasing number of displaced refugees coming into their countries, which in turn increased demand on already dwindling resources.
