⚜️ Cuban Music Demystified ⚜️

La Clave and the ways of playing and singing in relation to it have countless elements considered to be impossible to teach and study - "tienes que haber nacido en Cuba". I don't think so.

This channel is dedicated to sharing the ways I study and think about el Son Cubano, la Rumba Cubana, their subgenres and other styles of traditional and folkloric music originated on the island.

The main focus of my studies is on the drums and percussion, but in order to understand their mechanics, it's necessary to understand all the different elements like el tres and the piano, the bass and most importantly the singing.

In the end it's not that difficult. It's just really damn different and us yumas, gringos and others just need to turn our maps the right way round. Let's get on it!
