About and future Program
Cassata Drone founded (CDEA) is an open platform for peace and radical contemporary expanded cinema.
CDEA was born in 2017 by g. olmo stuppia with project manager Chiara Bordin and curator Giovanni Rendina with a famous show “Cassata Drone” featuring Raqs Media Collective, MDR, Stefano Cagol. Nowdays, with a nomadic team the project iis redesigned into Cassata Drone Expanded Archive (CDEA). CDEA is a vision of Sicily and the Mediterranean as a media, art and cinema platform to strike and trigger mortal drone gaze. We strike with actions, with culture dissemination and to spread Sicilianhood as form. As an independent platform, we produce content, exhibitions, interviews and experimental cinema aimed at Islands empowerment and diplomacy.
