Sailing Mak Daddy

Hi there and welcome

I'm Nick, and on my 40th birthday I mentioned to my wife that I was considering buying either a motorbike or a boat....
For some reason she thought that a boat would be a good idea (I think she regrets her choice now).
So I bought a Leisure 23 sail boat (Mak Siccar) and I'm in the process of fixing her up whilst learning how to sail from scratch. The end dream is to try and reach Yachtmaster level and become comercially endorsed; but for now, lets just try and fix this baby up and explore new places. Join me on my journey through the highs and lows...what could go wrong?
