Hello friends! I'm Alannis, a painter who mostly works with acrylic. I enjoy working on a variety of surfaces such as canvas, wood, and ceramic; and my subject matter ranges from wildlife to landscapes, and from space to abstract.
I began to enjoy painting when I was about 16 years old, which is when my passion switched from pencil drawing to working with paint mediums. In the summer of 2018, I began to really throw myself into my art. I began painting more, challenging myself to create realistic paintings, and pushed myself out of my comfort zone by participating in art festivals, selling and discussing my work.
The subject matter of my work is heavily influenced by my love of nature, as well as my personal experiences. I find painting to be very therapeutic, and it is my greatest passion. I'm working to push myself to not only paint, but to create more video content, outlining my painting process.
