Dan Tehan is the Member for Wannon in the Australian Federal Government. The Wannon electorate in Victoria covers an area of more than 30,000 square kilometres
Dan Tehan MP was elected to Parliament as the Federal Member for Wannon on 21 August 2010 and re-elected on 7 September 2013. Educated at a country primary school and high school, Dan went on to an Honours Degree at Melbourne University. He has a Masters Degree in International Relations from Kent University in the United Kingdom and a Masters Degree in Foreign Affairs and Trade from Monash University. Dan worked in Agriculture locally and abroad before joining the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade where he held various roles including working as a Diplomat at the Australian Embassy in Mexico. Dan has worked at senior levels of the Australian Government.
