Muhonja is the founder of MUHONJA MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT. She is an award-winning social activist who uses music as tool for advocacy, matters social equity, social equality and social justice! Through her music, both live and recorded performances, she tackles themes such as Gender Based Violence (GBV), rape, women empowerment, love, education, motherhood, teenage pregnancy, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), corruption, death et al. In social activism, not only has Muhonja won the hearts of thousands of fans worldwide but also numerous accolades including Women Appreciating Women (WAW) Honorary Award (2019) where she was inducted into the WAW Hall of Fame in London for her exemplary and endless contribution to the society, by empowering young mothers in the Muhonja Mujega Foundation (MMF).
