The Upper Pemigewasset Historical Society is a cultural organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, + presenting the Upper Pemigewasset Region's heritage.
Our mission is to preserve, protect, + share the rich history of the Upper Pemigewasset Region of New Hampshire. Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to educate + inspire our community + visitors by procuring + preserving historical artifacts, conducting research, organizing events, + providing a platform for the exploration + appreciation of our shared heritage.
Our vision is to be the foremost authority + trusted resource for the history of the Upper Pemigewasset Region. We aspire to create a vibrant cultural hub where individuals of all ages and backgrounds can engage with the past, foster a deeper understanding of our local history, + cultivate a sense of pride + connection to our communities. We envision a future where the UPHS is recognized as a pillar of historical preservation, education, + community engagement.
