Welcome! On this channel we run somewhat parallel to past hobby interests documented on aaronv.net. I'm Aaron, your host, and I'm variously a maker, a repair shop, a restoration facility, a novice failure analyst, and sometimes I just assemble or disassemble things for fun.

Our productions cover science, technology, education, auto repair and upgrades, whatever. There's a 1:20 scale model of a 1930s gold mill in progress along with tech-focused explorations of abandoned Colorado mill sites (HMGM series). A worn-out 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ entered the mix in December 2020 (Project XJ) and its restoration also factors into my free time. My day job keeps me busy with big wires in electrical power and renewable energy, so my hobbies tend toward small wires including audio, computer tech, small appliances, and general electronics. Family vehicles and woodworking also get their share.
