My personal finance and investing journey. Growing up poor I had the odds stacked against me and didn't know anything about money. I was working in construction while going to college and could never get ahead. Eventually I went to law school and graduated at the top of my class with a law degree and a lot of debt. I began working in mergers and acquisitions and learning about investing. Now I'm debt free, own a house in DC (still with mortgage) and a condo in Florida (paid off) and have enough money that I thinking about early retirement.
