UK Association for Solution Focused Practice
Solution focused practice touches many people’s lives as a result of the quiet revolution in approaches to care, therapy, education, employment, coaching and the management of change.
From individual counsellors and coaches to whole organisations in the public and private sector, the evidence and benefit of the approach can be seen. The solution focused approach is also becoming a key part of guidance from several UK governmental departments.
We believe the role of the UKASFP is to help further the use of solution focused practice and create a national profile for those using SF. We do this by hosting an Annual National Conference and by encouraging practitioners to share good practice and to meet locally wherever possible. Our website also makes it possible for those looking for practitioners to locate our members through the Directory. As groups of people want to share practice we will help by supporting Regional Groups. Trainers can now give details of their work and courses.
