Saemi Nadine Jung

Hi, I am Saemi, a former financial journalist turned media & communications scholar, currently doing my PhD in Vancouver, Canada.

You may have spotted me from Arirang TV, Korean Economic daily TV and other broadcasting networks like Arirang radio. I worked as a financial news anchor for about 10 years in Seoul. Then, I moved to London in 2020 to pursue my master's in Media and Communication. Afterwards, I worked as a digital nomad at an EdTech company and now, I am sharing my PhD journey with you.

I wear a lot of different hats during the day. I work as a researcher, educational consultant, and content creator, but most impotrantly, I am passionate about sharing the joy of learning. By documenting my PhD journey in Vancouver, I hope to help people learn and do more of what matters in life and lead a happier, fulfilling, and purpose-driven life.
