Alon Farber Hagiga

Hagiga in Hebrew means “celebration” and in our music we celebrate the cultural divergence of our Israeli heritage. Hagiga is inspired by the variety of musical flavors and colors of the “Israeli soundtrack”. Our compositions cross musical genres and are influenced by Swing, Moroccan, Funk and Brazilian backgrounds. It is this unique "celebration” of original Israeli jazz that is Hagiga .
"Alon Farber Hagiga" was formed in 2001 in Israel. Alon studied Jazz Composition in Berklee, Boston and is a decorated composer (recipient of the Israeli Prime Minister Award). Hagiga performed extensively in Israel and abroad, Among other in Paris Jazz Festival, Copenhagen Jazz Festiva, Red Sea Jazz Festivals (just now Feb 2024), OCT-LOFT Festival (China) and many more.
Hagiga released 5 albums so far- first two in Fresh Sound (Barcelona), third on in QFTF (Berlin) and last two in Origin Records (Seattle). Our last album is called "The Magician"
