The Creative Palette with Karl Eric Leitzel

A painter's palette is, by definition, the board on which fresh paint is laid out for use in mixing colors. The choice of colors on the palette defines the range of possible colors available to the artist as he or she paints. In this series and the associated workshops, the "creative palette" is used in the broader sense of the skills, tools, and inspirations a person has acquired that can be put to use for creative expression. Why limit oneself to only visual expression, or only playing a particular instrument, or only writing poetry. I've been excited to find in my own life that each creative outlet I add to my own palette adds new depth to all the other outlets. My full time profession is in painting, so there will be plenty of demos and thoughts specific to that, but I will frequently touch on all the others as I do my best to inspire you to expand your creative palette!
