This is an octave mandolin / Irish bouzouki I created by modifying a new 3/4 size Vangoa cutaway acoustic/electric guitar. Along with cosmetic touches and extra sound holes, I add a mandolin tailpiece and two gold-finish tuning gears to allow for the correct 8 loop-end strings. The bottom pair are octave strings, with the other pairs unison. This demo is to allow you to hear the unamplified sound, as recorded with my iPhone 16.
