Greendale & Brownhill Railway

The Greendale & Brownhill Railway (GBR) is a 32mm gauge garden railway. Our rolling stock might best be described as an eclectic mix. We run trains of two different scales on the same track, though not at the same time.
0 gauge (7mm to the ft scale) models represent standard gauge prototypes, whilst SM32 (16mm to the ft scale) represent narrow gauge types that run on 2ft gauge track.
The original inspiration behind this railway was a 'Greendale Rocket' toy we saw in a cheap shop. For those who do not know, the Greendale Rocket is the train from the children's British TV 'Postman Pat' animated series. Postman Pat lives in Greendale and we live at Brownhill, so the Greendale & Brownhill Railway was born.
We thought that converting this locomotive to run on the same track as some trains we already had would be a novel idea. It turned out somebody had already beaten us to it, but we believe we have made the first double Fairlie version, as featured in our GBR avatar.
