Dr. Jim Collins has been an educator, speaker and author in senior care for nearly three decades. Centering his message around the principals of Person-centered care, he wrote a full-length book on the subject titled: The Person-Centered Way: Revolutionizing Quality of Life in Long-Term Care.
Alzheimer’s disease and other neurological disorders causing dementia are among his areas of special interest. Most of all, Jim loves motivating healthcare professionals and caregivers to do and be their best.
In 2010, Jim launched CollinsLearning.com, which provides online compliance training and continuing education for licensed healthcare professionals.
Most recently, Jim has been focused on bringing awareness to emerging social issues and providing much needed education about topics such as opioid addiction, human trafficking and Active Shooters.
