Here on the allotment, I grow vegetables, herbs, fruit, and flowers the natural way—no chemicals, just compost, companion planting and lots of love for the soil. I’m passionate about sustainable gardening, permaculture principles, and encouraging pollinators and beneficial wildlife into the garden.
My plot is far from pristine—think wild edges, buzzing bees, tangled tomatoes and happy accidents. I garden alongside my loyal dog Rocky, a bunch of cheeky chickens and the occasional frog from the pond.
My husband Mike has recently taken over his own allotment plot, turning a weedy jungle into a productive vegetable garden—so expect plenty of comparisons, shared tips, and a bit of friendly competition!
