I'm often asked why I grow my own food, and is it actually worth it? In today's video I take a look at the challenges we gardeners face on a day to day basis - from pests and diseases to Mother Nature herself - and ask you to consider whether the benefits outweigh the cons. Organic gardening can present additional challenges but you might choose a more traditional, and maybe easier, way ahead. So if you're new to gardening, or just wondering why your garden doesn't look like those that you see across social media, take a look at what goes on in a real life garden and decide whether you are up for the challenge!
