I’ll slowly bring the old videos over in an archive playlist. I changed channels because my old one had an imbalance of subscribers compared to those who were actually watching. Less than five per cent of viewers were returning, which told the YouTube system that no one wanted the content. That pushed the whole channel down. Starting fresh gives the algorithm the chance to read the audience properly.
