(And while I have a healthy fear of water, ghosts don’t seem to scare me much.) The night was filled with chilling stories that gave me a glimpse into the darker side of this historic place.

Along the way, I found an amazing campground nestled on Pirate Road—could there be a more fitting name for a Tasmanian adventure?

Enter: my 2017 Mercedes Benz Sprinter, an ex-ambulance with a 3.0 V6 diesel that I’ve totally mastered…kind of.

Now, I’m hitting the road, powered by my passion for adventure, a quest for a healthier lifestyle, and the occasional snack run.
