Loop and Learn
LOOP and LEARN YouTube Channel is an archive of videos by members of the Loop and Learn community, to help open-source users understand the DIY Loop algorithm as well as listen to Type 1 diabetes researchers, device & app developers, stakeholders, and healthcare professionals as they share their expertise and pathways to new technologies and diabetes management.
The DIY loop apps are free, open-source algorithms, developed through thousands of volunteer hours, for use, as open-source, to those who are willing to read and learn before they attempt to use these apps.
These are provided to assist you in making your own decisions, in consultation with your health care team, regarding your own diabetes self-management. These videos are NOT to be taken as medical advice or directives to use/adapt these technologies.
Viewers take full responsibility for building and running their own system and do so at their own risk. The loop apps are not FDA-approved for diabetes management therapy.
