Diabetes Cockpit, developed by Lukas Schuster, is a new app that displays relevant metrics with the goal of behavior change, instead of simple descriptive statistics. This app is being featured in November at the DiabetesMine Fall 2022 Innovation Days, as the latest #WeAreNotWaiting DIY Project. It outgrew its roots as a small pet project and provides holistic and user-centric data analytics, primarily for loopers on iOS.
Lukas' diabetes journey started with his T1D diagnosis in 2011. While he planned his own startup, he ended up joining the early mySugr team in 2013. After cycling through many roles within the company and through the acquisition by Roche Diabetes Care, he now leads the Evidence and Data Analytics Chapter. When he is not working, he spends his time on private pet projects like Diabetes Cockpit or making music.
